Jonathan Chieppor Attorney at Law
Jonathan Chieppor is a founding partner of the Chieppor and Egner LLC law firm. Mr. Chieppor is a long-time resident of Lancaster County. He graduated from Manheim Township High School, after which he attended Saint Joseph’s University and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. While attending university, Attorney Chieppor interned for a local personal injury firm where he was involved in the litigation of personal injury cases, gaining experience in intake, mediation, and final settlements.
Following his undergraduate years, Attorney Chieppor attended Temple University’s Beasley School of Law where he graduated with a joint focus in business litigation and trial advocacy. While at Temple University, Attorney Chieppor clerked at a small law firm where he learned the finer details of running a law firm while also representing clients to one’s greatest ability. During his tenure as a clerk, he participated in building a defense for a client charged with 1st degree murder. Furthermore, Mr. Chieppor gained valuable experience in divorce law where he handled complex divorce matters including custody and marital property distribution.
Upon graduating from Temple University, Attorney Chieppor began working for the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office where he litigated everything from summary traffic offenses to the most serious felonies. As a prosecutor, he was the Lancaster County Auto Theft Task Force Supervisor where he was the lead prosecutor on all auto theft investigations and litigation. Furthermore, Mr. Chieppor was a member of the DUI Team and gained extensive experience assessing the strengths and weaknesses of DUI cases, and was undefeated in all his trials relating to DUI’s. Attorney Chieppor’s experience at the District Attorney’s Office has been an invaluable resource to his clients and Mr. Chieppor now uses his extensive knowledge of the criminal justice system in furtherance of his client’s interests.
Attorney Chieppor ventured into private practice for the purpose of serving his community at a more personal level. Alex Egner Attorney at Law
Alex Egner is Lancaster county born and raised. After graduating from Lampeter- Strasburg High school he joined the US Army and became a Military Police Officer. Alex received the same training that federal police officers receive, He knows the ins and outs of the criminal justice system. He attended Dickinson College where he was the first-ever triple major in Political Science, History, and Middle East Studies while earning a security certificate in conjunction with the US Army War College. After a short period of active duty Alex returned to school at the Penn State Dickinson School of Law, he was the Sydney D. Kline Legal Scholar. Alex clerked at a general practice law firm for two years. Alex worked at the Lancaster Public Defender’s office where he began to learn the importance of representing clients here in Lancaster County. He did an externship at the Auditor General’s office writing legal briefs and preliminary objections in lawsuits before the highest levels of court in Pennsylvania.
Alex was an Assistant District Attorney over the past four years, While at the DA office he had several jury and bench trials, and practiced before the Lancaster Courts almost every day. Alex was assigned and handled the most serious of cases and was trained and worked in the general trial unit, The DUI unit, The Domestic Violence unit, and the Juvenile unit. Alex Egner was the head of the Expungement unit, the Welfare Fraud division, and Small Games of Chance/ Bingo Law issues. Alex Egner was also responsible to be the District Attorneys’ representative on the Veterans treatment court team and for working with the drug court team as needed.

Mark F. Walmer Attorney at Law
Mark Walmer, Esq. has been practicing in the State of Pennsylvania for over 35 years, during which he served as Assistant District Attorney in Lancaster, PA and Assistant Public Defender of Lancaster County. Through his hard work and dedication to the legal field, he has developed a reputation throughout the surrounding community as a trustworthy and compassionate attorney who truly cares about helping his clients.Mark is a member of the American Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, Lancaster Bar Association, and other organizations.
Mark’s current practice is limited to clearing criminal records through Applications for Clemency and Expungements.
Born and raised just north of Lancaster in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, Mark is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and Franklin Pierce Law Center, (now known as the University of New Hampshire School of Law). He was also a Research Fellow at Harvard Law School in the Spring of 1987.
He initially pursued law school intending to practice environmental defense or immigration law, but found himself drawn to criminal defense based on his desire and passion to help people. Fighting for fairness and the best interest of his clients has always been an important ideal to him. He has long believed it is his duty as a lawyer to give honest, practical advice about the severity of the situation a client is in, in addition to all possible consequences and penalties.
Mark devotes a significant portion of his time to charitable organizations. In the past, he actively participated in the Have a Heart for Persons in the Criminal Justice System, which worked with the Lancaster County Prison advocating for optimal standards. Additionally, he has spoken at high schools and colleges throughout the Lancaster area about the criminal justice system and how to avoid committing crimes by making good decisions. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, grandson, and his adult daughters, playing the guitar, home repair and jogging
Victoria Carroll Attorney At Law
Attorney Victoria Carroll is a life-long resident of Lancaster County where she graduated from Lancaster Catholic High School. She earned her Bachelor of Arts with honors in English and Sociology from Duquesne University. While earning her undergraduate degree, Attorney Carroll spent her summers interning for the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office and the Domestic Violence Legal Clinic in Lancaster County.
Attorney Carroll went on to receive her J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law in North Haven, Connecticut. During her first two years of law school, Victoria interned for a healthcare litigation firm. In her final year of law school, Attorney Carroll interned at the Victim Rights Center of Connecticut. Furthermore, she spent her third year of law school interning at the School of Law’s Civil Justice Clinic advocating for a woman who was unjustly sentenced to 50 years in prison without the possibility of parole for a crime committed while she was a juvenile. Based on her work in the Clinic, her client was recently granted parole and will be released from prison in the coming weeks.
Additionally, Attorney Carroll worked as the Publication Editor for Quinnipiac University’s Health Law Journal. Upon graduation, she received awards for Outstanding Legal Scholarship and Excellence in Clinical Legal Education.
After graduating from law school, Attorney Carroll worked at MidPenn Legal Services, providing legal representation to victims of Domestic Violence. Attorney Carroll has clerked for attorneys in the areas of family law and healthcare litigation. She has extensive experience advocating for clients during the most difficult time of their lives. She is passionate about helping others and will work tirelessly to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients.
Attorney Carroll joined the law firm of Chieppor & Egner in August 2021.
Alexis M. Driendl Supervising Paralegal/Office Manager
Alexis Driendl majored in Criminal Justice at Widener University. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, Alexis interned at the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office where she contributed to crime reduction and community outreach initiatives. Alexis graduated cum laude from Widener University with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. She went on to attend a post-baccalaureate program at Villanova University to earn her ABA Approved Paralegal Certificate. Alexis is an active member of the Lancaster Bar Association, Philadelphia Association of Paralegals, and the Lancaster Area Paralegal Association. Additionally, she serves on the Board of Directors for the Lancaster Area Paralegal Association.
Having known at a very young age that she wanted to work in the legal field – specifically criminal law – Alexis is committed to providing clients with the care and understanding needed to navigate the legal system and support them through difficult times. “Our clients turn to us during some of the most challenging times of their lives and it is my utmost priority to ease their stress and anxiety to the best of my ability.”
A Lancaster County native, Alexis enjoys spending her free time traveling out west, watching sports, and trying new restaurants.
Molly F. Walmer Executive Assistant – Record Eraser
Born and raised in Lancaster County, Molly graduated from Manheim Central High School in 2015. She briefly attended Elizabethtown College before realizing she would rather experience the world than read about it. “There are things that a classroom cannot teach you about the world”.
Molly has traveled extensively over the last few years. At the age of 16, she was invited to the United Nations (Vienna, Austria), Czech Republic and Germany. The international peers quickly became friends who she would travel to visit.
Since then, she has spent extensive time in the United Kingdom and the Mediterranean, pursuing her coursework via University of the Nations. On the island of Cyprus, she aided in the humanitarian efforts of local charities for refugees fleeing religious persecution from neighboring countries. It was at this moment when justice became more than just a good idea; but an ideal worth sacrificing everything for.
From 2018-2020 Molly spent time in Kona, Hawaii, studying the transformation of societies. The first year, she completed the course as a student and the following year, assisted the leadership with mentoring students, adjusting curriculums, and grading student’s coursework.
Molly thrives on seeing people surpass their own expectations of themselves (and the world). Throughout her travels, Molly grows in her appreciation and value for Lancaster County. “Our lives are not our own.
